List of Active Cities and Regions

The following is a full list of cities and regions that responded to the 2010 AnonStillAlive reboot. Due to the nature of Anonymous, there is no way to maintain a 100% accurate listing of all the different local groups working against Scientology at any time. If you are aware of any cities that are currently active in Chanology which are not listed below, please send their contact information to stillalive@whyweprotest.net so that they can be added. Email submissions are typically processed the day they are recieved, and are always welcome.

Australia

Adelaide

Adelaide has remained active since 2008. We have maintained regular protests to inform the public about the dangers surrounding Scientology. AnonSA is looking for more anons for networking and collaboration in 2010.

Brisbane

Canberra

Canberra Protests starting back up after the original organised was chased off two years ago. We are alive and kicking, we plan on getting together every month from now on. Come and have a real impact on the government, Australia, the entire British Commonwealth! Let have an impact where it really counts and lets get the senate inquiry going.

Sydney

Sydney is one of the most powerful Anon cells in the world. Some even say it was the success of the Sydney protests that got the Chanology ball rolling back in February 2008. These days, we hold monthly demonstrations outside ANZO (Scientology Asia-Pacific HQ) and other Scientology orgs. Virtually all of Sydney knows that Scientology is a failing bullshit cult, but we like to rub it in as much as we can. We are experts at enturbulation, pissing off Scilons and gatecrashing their events. All the while, we practice a near-perfect balance of lulz and srs bsns. We don't raise the bar. We ARE the bar, and you're severely missing out if you haven't been to our raids yet.

Canada

Calgary

Calgary Anonymous is stronger than suspected. Right now we are organising upcoming raids, plans to present a bill to parliment to tax the bastards, etc. right now I and a few other anons are regrouping a cell together and remind Calgary why the cult left and also to support Edmonton anonymous in raids too.

Halifax

With the trial for the assault against Anon32 in May we're looking forward to an extremely exciting and lulzy year. Halifax has a small group of fully active anons but a wider group of up to 30 people who come when they can. We also have monthly meetups planned over the winter. Best way to contact us is either through the whyweprotest forums or our facebook group. We also have an irc channel, #halifax on anonnet.

Montreal

Anonymous Montreal is rocking it's way into Mordor! Errr... 2010!!!!! The cell is growing like never before and lulz are obtained left and right. We still organize monthly raids and surprise flash raids across town. We also do occasional gatherings with the Quebec Anonymous cell against our common enemy, $cientology. The Montreal local cell has gained a lot of new members in the past month, why don't you join in as well?

Ottawa

We're not very active, but we're still here. Though there aren't very many of us left.

Quebec

Toronto Anonymous is still kicking for the most part.

Vancouver

Vanonymous is working hard every month. Enturbulating the cult since 2008, we're going strong. We have a forum and wiki and offer anonymous mail for members! Here in Vancouver, Canada we're chipping away at the resolve of the Church!

In addition to several local sites, Germany has two country-wide organizational sites that serve all cities in the area.

Neckar Alb (Region)

We are part of the Stuttgart Cell but due to local Scientology activities and the need to recruit more local people, Anons from Reutlingen and Tuebingen decided to found a new Cell for their Region. Even though Anonymous Neckar Alb has been active against Scientology for about 5 years now, the "official cell" was founded in late 2009.

We hold a regular monthly protest, occasionally make the trip to Cork if need be, pull flash raids when we feel like it or when we are crashing a Scientology event and are determined to grind our mission down. We laugh at our Scifags' ignore tech. Where is your confront tech now bitches?

Israel

We usually raid at one of three locations: CoS's smaller org at rothschild avenue, CoS's main org at Shonchino street, CCHR anti-drugs booth at Shenkin street. Hilarity almost always ensues.

As for how are we doing, you could say that we have been a victim of our own success: OSA is no longer trying to chase us and the Scientologists do not even leave the building when we are outside. Due to this situation, we have decided to change our tactics: We have dropped our monthly protests and switched to protesting only big Scientology events. Our main focus now is gathering intel and acting on it by informing newspapers, bloggers and reporters, contacting business owners who are in touch with Scientology and informing them of the true nature of cult, and other assorted direct online activities designed to unmask Scientology.All in all, we're doing pretty good, tho we're less visible then we used to be.

Japan

Japan is still alive. We're participating in events, handing out fliers, making comic books, translating materials, and communicating with current and former Scientologists.

Mexico

We know we are a small group, but we have the intention to grow, anyway we still alive in WWP translating projects to spanish.

Norway

Oslo

Oslo is doing fairly regular flier raids, and the occasional protest as well.

Vestland (Region)

Including Bergen, Haugesund, and Stavanger, Vestlandet Anons are currently only engaged in flyer raids.

South Africa

ZAnons are still going strong, but support is waning with the looming 2010 World Cup. Protesting in SA is serious business (no meme intended) so channels are being pursued vigorously. Together we are ZAnonymous! We will not let the $cilons trample our beautiful country like so many have before!

Sweden

Stockholm

We are still alive and are approximately 10 anons on the protests (and growing). We have monthly protests and they usually take place in central Stockholm on "Sergels Torg" aka "Plattan" at 12:00.

United Kingdom

Belfast

Still protesting away at least once a month.

Birmingham

Greets, we're still alive and have a main raid once a month, interspersed with mini-raids. Updates and planning can generally be found on the forums, and media/useful crap is located on the main page.

London

Loldon Anonymous is alive and full of win. We get 20-25 people at monthly raids and 5 or 10 at weekly miniraids. Monthly protests start off at Queen Victoria Street and go from there to the Tottenham Court Road, then usually to the pub Contact us on IRC, or just turn up. We have cake!

Manchester

We protest monthly, always on the second saturday. We meet up at 10:45 and protest from 11 till about 3 - the protest map is at http://tinyurl.com/y9qs74v. More activities are in the works, as are plans to join some raids at Sunderland. Numbers are currently on the increase.

Northumbria (Region)

Serving Sunderland, Gateshead and York. We are a small cell, with protest groups of sometimes only four. We are, however, still alive and do organise protests. The org in Sunderland is looking less alive, and they are currently unable to use the ideal org. We protest stress tests when we can.

Atlanta

Atlanta is still going strong. Nothing has really changed since the last StillAlive update. We still have epic caek, no more police trouble, etc.

Boston

We are too stubborn to go home. Snow, ice, sunburns and drama cannot deter us from the fight. We're there every month, yelling and dancing and blowing kisses to OSA. /b/oston loves /b/ackup and provides it to other cities when we can.

Cincinnatti

We know they're around, but no one sent an update or contact information.

Clearwater

Clearwater Cell is STILL ALIVE. Nobody is going anywhere, but downtown. We recently learned that we need to watch out for OSA OSA OSA's vehicular manslaughter attempts, but that's to be expected in Creepy Evil Cult Town. We prefer NOT to be hit by Peter Mansell, but the frogger caek for December made up for it by being made of mockery and win. The Stupid Powerz Building is "sort of" being worked on----just enough to dupe the gullible into forking over mo' money. Monthly protests still goin' on. Solo-raiding by one particularly feisty femAnon. Hoping to plan more flash raids if we ever get anything in the way of decent weather.

Columbus

The Anon cell in Columbus, Ohio is still alive. We have been raiding at least monthly at the downtown Org, as well as occasional raids at the Idle Org site on Dublin Road. Foot traffic in and out of the local org has decreased significantly, and there has been at least one major staff shakeup which included a Sea Org contingent showing up to identify and fix the problem. We have no intention of stopping our activities anytime soon.

Greensboro

So NC is virtually sci-free nao thnx to awesome NCanons, but we are still around, just less so than before. We are working on support groups to surrounding cells (January is DC for us).

New Haven

CT is still raiding every month, with a turnout ranging from 5-9. Thanks to /b/lackup from neighboring cells (Namely Boston), we have been able to hold a much bigger raid every 2-3 months.

New York

NYC Anonymous currently has a pool of roughly 50 to 60 regulars in the community with an average of 30 to 40 appearing at any of our monthly raids. Members come from NYC, New Jersey, Upstate NY, Long Island, and some out of state. Mini-raids are done usually at least once a week with a smaller crew. We also organize operations and pranks to piss off Scientology as much as we can. We know a lot about Scientology, but usually prefer to tell them they're fucking idiots who are in a cult for ugly morons. We laugh a lot and make a huge scene in the heart of Times Square, and everyone likes us except for Scientology.

Ocala

Less global raids, more sidewalk chalk and flyers. Ocala is still alive.

Washington D.C.

By most recent counts, D.C. is still pulling in solid 30s every month with the occasional increase and decrease.

Kansas City (MO)

Minneapolis

The Minnesota cell was born of a five-hour raid which saw fifty-below wind-chills; this alone shows the mettle of our group. We maintain positive relations with local law enforcement and navigate all the red-tape required to utilize the tools of our trade including a power pack, amp, speaker, megaphone, and a trusty mp3 player. MinnAnon hosts monthly raids and we also observe global raid dates. Our monthly raids regularly have around two-dozen protesters in attendance. Flash raids are common and we also participate in local parades and host an occasional regional event. No one protests with more poise than MinnAnnon, just ask TruTV.

Nashville

Nashville Anon cell still very much alive.

New Orleans

We follow the globals.When the majority of anons protest,we usually do also. Ours numbers are small but our presence has been continuous from the beginning in 08'

St Louis

We do try to do a raid every month at the local org. We pick a date by voting on it on cosstl. We're also up for flash raids as when the CCHR came to town or graduation ceremonies. We learned first hand the org is prepared to call the cops for the slightest thing. Most Anons seem to think the local org is lazy. We've yet to have a real handler -- the closest we got was a couple of teenagers who showed up in March and April to carp about our masks.

Los Angeles

Los Angeles has been going strong! We have a regular monthly raid and have since February 10th 2008. Between monthly raids, we have all sorts of mini-raids for a variety of reasons. We try to protest and get the message at at various Scientology events taking place around Los Angeles at any time. We also try to get out into the community at other functions, such as the hillariously famous "Doo-Dah Parade" in Pasadena, CA and the E3 Expo in Downtown L.A. We've also been known to make trips out the Scientology's "Gold Base" in Hemet, CA to protest there. In short, we're everywhere Scientology doesn't want us to be. We're also the only protesting cell that has a regular showing of Scientology handlers who come out to video tape and take photos of protesters at nearly every protest event. So, be ready to face them. All in all, we're still alive and still making it happen in a major way.

Sacramento

Our Sacramento Cell is still alive, there's not many of us, but we're still here

San Diego

San Diego Anonymous lost a few /b/rothers this past year, but gained new ones. From the San Diego waterfront on Sea Arrgh, to the Gay Pride Parade we flew our colors proudly. On Halloween we distributed fliers in the neighborhood around the decrepit Ideal Org property, and collected a lot of Halloween candy and hugs from the locals. We have relentlessly followed the San Diego Scilons attempts to infiltrate human rights and other social betterment organizations, maintained a good rapport with local law enforcement, and made nuisances of ourselves to the Scientologists and their plans. We are...still alive and looking forward to continuing the battle in the new year.

Portland

PDX Anons are still alive and enturbulatin'! Monthly raids are continuing strong, with additional raids on an unscheduled basis -- such as when the Seattle Anons drop by. Come join the protests. We have cake!

Seattle

We have had many wins over the course of Chanology, including shutting down the downtown bookstore location, the evaporation of 2 missions, and a complete crash of stats. Seattle has a nice collection of hard core enturbulaters, and like adding to it with newbs. We can also be found on IRC #lulznw on irc.anonnet.org. Seattle anons can be found traveling to many of the mega events, and are often visited by anons from other cities. We will throw a raid just for you!

Tustin

We have about 6 or so regulars, and a few floaters, but we look like 20. Our tightknit group has protesting down to a science. The public driving by love us because we're awesome and amusing. We have caused a serious drop in the number of people visiting the org over the months. We usually plan our protests for the morning of the LA protest, because we're so hardcore we do both in one day. Newcomers are always welcome. We always have extra signs, capes, and at least two forms of music.

Vegas
